Inspection and control professions in the Health and Social sector

In addition to management positions, EN3S also provides training for health insurance medical advisors and consulting engineers (prevention in the Work Health and Safety area). In partnership with the EHESP School of Public Health, EN3S contributes to the training of inspectors and controllers who work with regional health agencies.

“Medical Advisor” training cycle

These practitioners are professional doctors, surgeons and dentists who have chosen to provide expertise for social protection. They guarantee that payment by health insurance for medical care is medically justified. They participate in risk management. Medical advisors also play a role in supporting health professionals and in prevention.

• A cycle organized in partnership with the CNAMTS and the RSI

• Twelve months of training which allows continuing a professional activity

• Six months of training which alternate two training periods with two internships and tutoring “Consulting Engineer” training cycle Consulting engineers carry out missions to prevent work risks in companies (work accidents and work-related illnesses).

• A cycle organized in partnership with the CNAMTS and the National Institute of Scientific Research (INRS) • Twelve months of training which combine an initial three-month teaching period focusing on the work environment and a second nine-month period alternating technical courses, immersion in and visits to companies, and work on the preparation of a thesis.

“RHA Inspector/Controller” training cycle

Regional Health Agency (RHA) inspectors and controllers carry out establishment inspection and control missions across a very broad field (health establishments, medical-social sector establishments such as residences for the dependent elderly, etc.).

• Cycle organized with EHESP

• 120 hours of work-study training

• Presentation of a professional thesis EN3S organizes two training modules representing 40 hours of training and participates on the cycle validation jury.
