Cameroon’s National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM)

Since 2017, EN3S has been working under a partnership agreement with Cameroon’s National School of Administration and Magistracy (ENAM), established in 1959, which is responsible for the recruitment, initial and continuing education of managers in all State administrations.

ENAM thus provides training to officials belonging to the employment and social security public agencies. It also trains managers from the ministries of neighbouring countries (Congo, Gabon, Central African Republic, Chad, etc.).

The initial training includes foundation courses common to all students on general administrative, legal and economic knowledge. This is followed by specialisation courses, tailored for the competences required by the various administrations.

In response to the challenges of extending social protection, ENAM has embarked on the process of revising and strengthening its courses on social protection, at the level of both initial and continuing education.

In this context, the two Schools are joining forces to organise initial and continuing education activities at Yaoundé, covering topics such as social protection management and the global challenges and issues faced by social security.

The aim of these initiatives is to boost the competences of future officials and managers in government ministries.
